General Deposit Policy

Deposits help ensure that a space is reserved for our members. These deposits apply to bus trips, weekend trips, week long trips and more.  The Upper Cape Ski & Sports Club is not responsible for finding a replacement for you if you cancel. You must find your own replacement, although we will endeavor to help you whenever possible. 


Specific Deposit Policy- updated as of March 7th, 2016


While the club will make every attempt to return as much of the deposit as possible on any cancellation, it will be up to the trip leader to determine what is considered to be fair reimbursement. This will be dependent on deposit and cancellation policies of the individual trip providers, and the overall budget of the trip. Determination shall be done in such a way as to neither incur additional cost to either the club or the other registrants for the trip. Deposit refunds may have to be delayed until trip charges are completed.


The club strongly recommends travel insurance for those signing up for week long trips. 

 

Day Trip Cancellation Policy

Those signing up for day trips less than 10 days in advance cannot be guaranteed space on the bus.

Day trip attendees that cancel less than 72 hours prior to trip departure will forfeit a $40 bus fee.  The balance of the trip payment will be refunded.  The trip leader must be notified of the cancellation in writing (e-mail is acceptable).  If the day trip is cancelled by the club, a full refund will be given.
