Built in 1902 by Industrialist Joseph Stickney, The Omni Mt Washington Hotel remains as impressive today as the day it opened. Huge, comfortable, dripping with history, and fully equipped with indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, full spa, restaurants, bars, well-appointed rooms and large meeting areas, the Hotel is listed as a National Historic Landmark. The spectacular setting below Mt Washington lends itself to on-site snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and maybe even a nighttime sleigh ride! Directly across the street is Bretton Woods Ski Resort, named by Ski Magazine as "Best resort in the east for snow, grooming, service, and weather". As you know "everybody is a good skier at Bretton Woods". Short drive to North Conway for additional shopping, entertainment, restaurants. Lots to do. Come pamper yourself a bit.
