An annual tradition for many years now, the Poker Ride combines fitness, friendship, and fun with a chance to win some cash! Join us for a leisurely bike ride along the Shining Sea Bike Path, followed by a cookout and social gathering. To add to the excitement, we include a bit of competitive card play. Riders will pick a playing card from a deck at several pre-determined stops along the ride. By the end of the ride, everyone will have a 5-card poker hand. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be good at poker or even know how to play—we’ll handle that part for you. Cash prizes to whoever has the best and worst hands! Registration via the site is mandatory.
Price is $20 per person. The club will supply burgers, dogs and chicken. You should bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. Lunch location is at 88 Palmer Ave. at Michael and Diane's
